    Part of the reason I left my prior employer is the UK side of the business purchased Cloudflare, so I said yep, I'm out

    If anybody is wondering- I've talked to CF before, I gave them a list of the crime groups using their service.. they kept them as customers.

        Have you talked to the NCA about charging them as accessories? If they are profiting from illegal behaviour and they are aware of this, it should be a pretty clear case.

            @GossiTheDog

            Protecting DDOS groups is clearly in their best interest. More people needing DDOS protection, means more people buying Cloudflare.

            But sadly, I do not even think that this is the worst of it. It is also an endrun around web encryption and decentralisation. If the NSA doesn't have fullpipe access to what enters and leaves Cloudflare, I would be highly surprised indeed. Also they host infrastructure for distributing Whatsapp.

            Sort of the USA variant of the Chinese Firewall.

                Much of my spam/phishing comes from Cloudflare. There's a constant churn of nonsense domains and mailservers that are rotated so they don't attract attention. Large ranges of IP addresses involved.

                    @GossiTheDog And then, there's this gem. Google ads for ddos.su and Cloudflare, chilling on the result page for "best stresser tool". ddos.su has been advertising on Google for over a year. I have reported the ads but have not heard back yet.
                    Of course, ddos.su is behind CF. So I reported ddos.su to Cloudflare who just said "yeah that's no longer on our network". My bad, but www.ddos.su is.

                        @GossiTheDog Years ago there was a window glass shop nearby that was found to be the cause of hundreds of windows being mysteriously shot out. I'm not sure how CF is different.
