@allende1973 Nope. We have to wait for the minister to explain. We wait.

@allende1973 PS: in the jerusalem post they called the activists "flotilla anarchists spreading chaos" and no state is benevolent against disruptors and anarchist fighters, so no suprise if that's the case here.

It's the "autonomous" Basque police.
All Police forces in Spain are trained by Israel.
Specifically the "basque" police forces were created decades ago in the context of counter-insurgency. To crush the leftist independence movement linked to Palestinian rebels.
Police officers travel to Israel to learn paramilitary tactics. Many of them aren't Basque and they may even hate Basque culture and people.
Spanish State has a long and bloody history of repression. Like the UK.

Yeah, Israel is a Global Repressive Machine.
It has worked for decades against many European peoples movements: Irish, Basque, Catalan, Kurds, Sahrauis.
Israel wins millions teaching the most brutal methods to many European police forces. And of course to nearly all dictatorships all over the world.
Even with progressive governments they have infiltrated institutions. Specially armed and police forces. So they influence against democracy and human rigths even here.

Yes.
The center-left government of Pedro Sánchez relies on the support of leftist parties including many Basque and Catalan nationalists. They will all exert pressure.
In the Basque Country, the local government is in the hands of the right-wing. So popular opposition will be massive.
Israel is the most unpopular regime in the world. In Spain more than 75% are against Zionism. 18% are Israeli supporters. Basques and Catalans are even more Pro-Palestinians.
