@sounddrill Thank you for your interest!

Start by regularly attending the mapping parties, and actively mapping outside them. That way, you can become an experienced mapper who can mentor newbies.

You can also talk to the organizers and help them find venues in your part of town.

Inviting college students and members of other communities (e.g. WhyLoiter) is also helpful.
