I hear people talking a lot about the problems they have with Windows 11, and I feel bad and I’m sorry that this is happening.

@DavidGoldfield I’m quite sure I do have first letter navigation in the system Trey.
@technocounselor That's odd as I'm not seeing this. So, if you press the Windows key with B, does first letter navigation work for you?

@DavidGoldfield @technocounselor Nope, not there. JAWSKey+f11 or NVDA+F11 with the NVDA add-on.

@DavidGoldfield Oh I use Jaws key F 11

@technocounselor Ah, I see. I've gotten so used to using the Windows+b hotkey that using the JAWS method never occurs to me, although I certainly know about it.

@amy0223 @technocounselor As I don't have a job, I only use Windows 11 at home, and it works fine for me. By the way, how do you stop NotePad opening in tabs? That's one thing I would like to change in Windows 11 if I can.

@technocounselor @amy0223 Alt+s didn't work for me in NotePad, as Windows is in French on my computer and that means some keystrokes are different, but I got into settings somehow, and I've changed to opening a new file in a new window.

I hear people talking a lot about the problems they have with Windows 11, and I feel bad and I’m sorry that this is happening. I don’t know if it’s just my workflow or my computer, but it works fine for me at least at home. At work, sometimes things are a little bit weird because we are running windows 11 on machines that really weren’t built for it.
@technocounselor I swear half or more of it is caused by people attempting to rip out features, or components that either are not even included in their version, or do not do what they believe. My Windows 11 Pro Mini Pc has been running 24/7 for a year with zero issues.

@dhamlinmusic Yeah same. I have had a couple of different PCs since it came out, and it’s been fine.

@technocounselor I hear a lot of people talking about it two. I'm not sure if it's the things I use my computer for, or if I'm just lucky, but I don't have any of these problems. I have never even had to reinstall windows on this machine either. Scott has the same kind of computer I do, and he's had to do a reinstall at least once that I can remember. I guess I'm just lucky.

@RaineyDay @technocounselor May your luck continue.
