@pixelpusher220 though there was plenty of opposition when it was being built, critics called it a threat to French art and history, with comments like a "truly tragic street lamp", a "mast of iron gymnasium apparatus", and an "odious column of bolted metal".

@Trilobyter at least those are reasonable criticism lol art is art and won't please many.
More impressed that something intended to be temporary was built so well it's lasted this long (even with expected maintenance)
