How many people said? "The world is flat?" How many people said? "The universe revolves around the Earth." How many people said? "The world is surrounded by a glass dome and the rest of the universe is submersed in water."

Please explain to me when Truth by Consensus became a valid research method? Even in science we know our consensus can be wrong and is not definitive. I am not taking a side one way or the other in this case matter. I am just saying that arguing the point by consensus is a horribly fallacious approach. When in our history has consensus ever been proven to be infallible?

Fair point, but in the context of medical gaslighting, shared firsthand experiences have some more weight, especially when the patterns are very consistent. It's not just baseless ideas.

I am not unsympathetic to the people that are suffering and I am not saying they are wrong. I am saying this is the wrong way to try to make the point. Memes like this are easily dismissed due to their fallacious nature. When a point needs to be made and understood it is best not to undermine the cause by fallacious evidence.

I hope the best with your cause and I hope you find a way to spread awareness that is effective and not so easily dismissed off hand.
