OK, this is a longshot, but: have you ever run the 90s version of the FirstClass BBS server *or* did you use it back in the day? I'm trying to figure out if something is a standard feature and could use feedback from someone who might know.

@misty I used it, can somewhat recall the look and feel but it was more a local gov and high school admin thing (well the teachers did and I was curious about the teachers so you do what you do) so 'BBS without the stuff'.
