    Anyway played with infrared temperature modules? I have one I tore out of a cheap infrared temperature-gun, but the 4 pins are labeled S+, P+, P-, S-

    Every single IR sensor I can find that looks anything like this is I²C, which this clearly isn't. Anyone have a datasheet for anything like this?

    @foone got a bag of wacky assorted ones like this at surplus, some of them are built like this

      @whitequark @foone I wonder. Could you connect it to something like a HX711? Given it’s tuned for bridges.

            which also doesn't match the pinout of these when you get them in module form, since all of those I've seen go VCC,GND,SDA,SCL
