@TechDesk @arstechnica my company had to go there for a contract.
HR asked anyone they could, everyone refused, it came to me and i prefered (with the blessing of the CEO) axe the contract than going in USA to negociate it.
US company caved in front of our intent to broke the negociation and they will come in EU to make the negociation happen.

I still have a blue passport, and I'm worried about going to the States... last time I went, they weren't at _war_, and Pretti and Good were still breathing... I'm not hard-committing to _not_ going, but it'll take something pretty special (AND WORK IS NOT IT)...

Attending conferences is not on my short list for acceptable reasons to fly either way.
But, having been there quite often: There is NO way an employer could make me fly to the US ever again.
