We're all watching someone lose $500 to an AI agent that trades 24/7 with the enthusiasm of a casino and taking notes on the flames. In eighteen months, this will be completely normal. Your CEO's already thinking about it.
Humans Will Give AI Anything If You Make It Sound Cool Enough
There's a beautiful moment happening right now, and by 'beautiful' I mean 'horrifying in that can't-look-away-from-the-car-crash sense.'

@Javvad on the good had some CEO resist (mine changed out bank because he wanted a human to manage his thing and no automated thing).
but yeah majority of CEO will blindly use it and cry help when the company will lose all the money.
CEO are often the most incompetent people i've seen in my life.

@Javvad I've set up OpenClaw on a disposable system and today's defaults for it are fairly secure.
- Only has access to a sandboxed filesystem
- no ports available to external network
- still saves your API keys to a plain text file though
I connected it to a Telegram bot and it works great, but it doesn't really give me anything that the Claude iOS/Android app wouldn't give me.
The moment you start connecting it to your email, code repos, cloud files, etc it goes from relatively safe to super dangerous, so I'm not really sure what it's useful for.
Except as that expensive bonfire. Maybe rich people want that though, they've got weird kinks.
