    Due to my son's incautious, injudicious, unprotected sexual incontinence, I am raising one of his kids. You bet that evaporated milk, puddings, 1970s' music, 'Allo, Allo', walking to school and church are all playing big parts in the kid's upbringing. Also, love & consistency.

      @fesshole
      Poisoning the child's mind with state sponsored religion seems a bit harsh but otherwise tick, V. G.

          @fesshole Do make sure you remember about the love and consistency bits when kiddo realises what church is, won't you.

              @fartnuggets @fesshole Agreed, maybe cut down a bit on the «‘allo, ‘allo» to avoid being an early great grand parent…

                  @fesshole This is radically different from the upbringing his dad got?

                      @rockpick

                      I've seen parents utterly reject their adult chicken and tear the family apart for what they see as sexual sin. And I've seen other parents support their adult children through questionable choices that they, the parents, wouldn't have made, and welcome new partners and babies into the family. The first way was caused by rigid adherence to religious rules without any love or compassion. The second way is unquestionably better.
