My Yoshino #cherry is doing that sad, Washington Tidal Basin thing, where it is believing the past week+ of warm weather and is now getting ready to open blossoms, while later this week we will have another freeze.

It's such a pretty tree when it gets the chance to actually bloom.

@czarbucks
Same sad story in Kentucky. Beautiful, but blooming too early to bear fruit.

Ouch! Sorry if you miss an actual harvest. Mine is purely ornamental, but one of the earliest signs of spring here. And now too early.

A day later, let me share my Yoshino #cherry tree, in perhaps 75% bloom. We're going to have a likely freeze tomorrow night, so I doubt it will get to full blossom.
One of my favorite trees, glad at least to see this much "color."
