Cool! I went to Tintagel once. And into Merlin’s Cave below it.@gdinwiddie It has a fantastic feel to it, regardless of all the somewhat tenuous legendary associations.
Interestingly (probably not that interesting), even if we live less than ten miles away from it now, I don't think we've been there ourselves for over fifteen years now.

@scribblanitea There's really not a lot there, but it was my first (and only) visit to Cornwall. And Merlin's cave felt magical, with the waves washing into the entrance. In the semi-dark, I found a green stone in the water.
