@MakersHour Once upon a time I wore a skirt made of dishcloths sewn together, for a school play. I had to do a dance, and the skirt kept trying to fall down and I had to try and hold it up with one hand, it's a core traumatic memory of my childhood.
So anyway, if I could have a few, maybe I'd try and remake such a skirt with a proper waist fastening and banish some demons.
I think I can still remember the dance...

A2: As a person who appreciates Furoshiki, I'd probably try to make it into whatever I needed at the moment. A backpack perhaps? (Albeit a tiny one)

Well, I could probably incorporate it into a quilt? Or, unpick the threads to use as string in a miniature scene.

@MakersHour A2 a small pair of dungarees for a visiting bear or other stuffy would be likely. I would probably be able to cut the whole thing from one. But I do have a question: when you say dishcloth do you mean a cloth to dry dishes or a cloth to wash dishes?

@grajohnt @MakersHour I’d happily lend you another so you had a front and a back for it…

@thegiddystitcher @MakersHour That sounds like an interesting play - were the dishcloths integral to the part?

@Janet_52square
Different people mean different things by it, so either.Personally, I am imagining a cloth for washing up as opposed to a tea towel for drying up.
