@nomenloony @ZackPolanski Unfortunate that Polanski’s Mastodon account is dormant and the Green Party’s account is on Threads…. Mind you, I’m not sure politicians/political parties on Mastodon would be terribly popular with the community.

@foxbasealpha @ZackPolanski greens perhaps much more popular than others. I think Reform would find themselves at the receiving end of the most blocks in history.

@foxbasealpha @nomenloony @ZackPolanski I for one am not here for "PR" style content; unfiltered an account relaying Polanski from elsewhere as it was noise.
If a politician wants to do Mastodon they need to engage as a human not a persona

actually the Scottish Greens are a staple of Mastodon/Fediverse
@ScottishGreensobviously their content is mostly Scotland focused but they do celebrate the Green Party of England & Wales wins
Greens are very popular on the queer and computer security servers
there's a lot of Anarchists, Communists, Lib Dems, US Democrats, floating around ready to jump on political posts
its probably a good thing we have a diverse group and healthy hate of politicians whatever faction we ascribe to

@nomenloony @ZackPolanski @thegreenparty It is a path many of us have trodden. For me it was the growing centralisation of policy control in the 1990s under the New Labour brand.
Debate and disagreement are healthy in a democracy. Too much of what is happening now is about shutting down ideas before any serious discussion.
