Hello, I'm from the campaign to launch the word "learnings" directly into the sun. Do you have time for a quick chat about what we're trying to achieve?

@mhoye "Learnings" was a thing? It wasn't just a typo for leanings?

@mhoye "aggregating the learnings" is my go-to phrase for mocking corpospeak. It came up multiple times at an affiliate marketing company I used to work at (Neverblue).

@wendynather @linuxandyarn There were plenty of lessons there, in fact.

@wendynather @mhoye Now I've got a movie scene in my head where Samuel L Jackson beats a corporate trainer (or some Prager U bobblehead) down to the floor and says "Thus endeth the learnings."

@mhoye I have spent all day repeating the mantra "these are professional people with good ideas and they just use different words to me".

... while grinding my teeth to the roots

@wendynather @mhoye Synonyms do make the world richer, but only when they come from kids, poets, and shitposters. Corporatroids just can't hack 'em.
