        @tantramar @leo I listen to enough to see who the sponsor is and what their product is. If I'm interested in the product I'll keep listening. Works for me and I'm happy that SN is available to me.

          @johnefrancis @leo Almost none of them ever apply to me. 🤷‍♂️ They’re both such proponents of AI that I may have to stop listening; I’m so not into it.

            @tantramar @leo eh, I find some nuance in the take on AI. LLMs can be useful programming tools. Not an AGI. Not capable of actual understanding. No comment on the economics.

            Compared to the ridiculous claims made by the big vendors and being lapped up by industry, that seems OK to me.

              @johnefrancis I have started using my podcatcher’s transcript to skip adverts.

              That’s the only use I have for LLM-AI.
