It's the 1st Sunday of the month and so we celebrate #DigitalIndependanc3 Day in Canada. What have you done this past month to secure your personal data? Did you exit X or flee Facebook? Did you #DeGoogle or switch to an #OpenSource software alternative?
Tell us what you accomplished and encourage others to take action. Start small and regain control over your data a little bit at a time. -

Tell us what you accomplished and encourage others to take action. Start small and regain control over your data a little bit at a time.In February I personally started transitioning away from my decades old GMail account. It's still a work in progress as I underestimated just how embedded Google is in my everyday online transactions. My family members still use Google apps so I'll always have some level of data security to deal with. But I'm working on it.
This past month I dumped Chrome and moved to a new private alternative - #Vivaldi and so far I'm happy with the choice. -
