Tell Google and all major search engines: Stop promoting this "online rape academy"
CNN just released a major investigation that uncovered a hidden, online world commodifying and amplifying sexual violence against women. This online community they exposed is the same one that enabled the drugging and abuse of sexual assault survivor, Gisèle Pelicot. One of the websites at the center of this horrific online ring of abuse is an extreme porn website called “Motherless,” which is home to more than 20,000 videos of so-called “sleep” content uploaded by users. These “sleep” videos are the same kinds of rape videos made of Pelicot, and they have hundreds of thousands of views. The existence of this website is bad enough, but the fact that major search engines are platforming and profiting from this abuse is even worse; Simply typing the word “Motherless” into Google Search brings the abuse website up as its top search results. That’s why we’re urgently organizing a petition calling on Google, Yahoo!, and other major search engines to deplatform this abuse website and all replica websites immediately.
