    @DoubleTreble
    Good morning! What a great result to wake up to. Well done to everyone who worked to help achieve that vote.
    I really must read Raising Hare πŸ“–

          @DoubleTreble Morning DT. Back from our travels last night. What fantastic news for Gorton & Denton, who clearly have The Best Voters In The World. Mr DT and the #Green team and supporters worked so hard and must be very happy [and exhausted] with that result. The @greenpartyni were across and helping also.
          Such a positive vote with over 40% for Hannah; and miserable seconds at 28% with third[turd] at 25%. Absolutely hilarious that Tories lost their deposit too.

            I’m starting out slowly this morning, despite bright sun. I’ve no real plans today except some light housekeeping, so I’ll see what develops.

                  @tompearce49 @DoubleTreble @greenpartyni I’ve no problem with pine martens catching gray squirrels, which they are very good at. The grays are why our native reds almost disappeared entirely. It is much more difficult for a pine marten to catch a red, as it’s fast and light - they might get the old or sick ones though. The grays spread a pox which is fatal to the reds, but not to the grays.

                    @HarriettMB @tompearce49 @DoubleTreble @greenpartyni Nope. Humans destroying native woodlands is why - that mixture of native conifers and birch. Reds can only live there; greys can’t live there. Unfortunately, what remains is close enough to where the greys are for the disease to spread.

                              @PabloMartini I used my Nikon Zf body and a 180-600 lens that I share with my husband. My first camera (bought this time last year) was the Zfc with a 16-50 lens. I upgraded to the Zf body just before Christmas.

                                  @PabloMartini Not without an adapter. I have issues with my hands and use a base or a tripod when I’ve got a big lens on. I keep the Zfc as it’s light even with its 50-250 lens. It’s not made from the really heavy stuff a lot of lens are.

                                    Shame about the adaptor stuff, kits not cheap these days!
                                    And the old glass looks better to me?
                                    or ages on adjusting on a RAW editor
                                    I'm just after donkeys years on photoshop now just getting the grip on GIMP (grim name?) now!

                                    Adobe is not having my images!

                                      @PabloMartini I use Lightroom. Haven’t ventured into Photoshop yet.

                                        @HarriettMB

                                        Showing my age? when I switched from ACDSee & started Ps version 3 or 4!
                                        & No lightroom!
                                        Relearning advanced features on Gimp but only as I need it now! Very full featured kit & free! (or what you want to donate!)

                                        I have Darktable on Linux but that's another training job! But looks the same as the Adobe kit & you can make it's menu exactly the same!
