@ascentale @uxmark @bikenite #BikeNite A5: This is an old pic, taken with an analog camera probably around 30 years ago somewhere in North Rhine-Westphalia. It's a common German city limits sign (viewed from inside the city limits), saying that the current municipality ends here and the next municipality is 1km away. The funny part are the village names. Translated to English the names are "Cough" (upper part) and "Half-Cough" (lower part). I have no idea, why those villages are named that way.

@ascentale @bikenite A5. I’ve found a few over the years that I love. The Grand Porch Party is a mini-music festival held every June in a residential neighbourhood in Waterloo, Ontario. Sometimes I cycle to it, and sometimes I walk. Back in 2023 I spotted this lovely “Grand Porch Potty” sign. I love how the sign-maker styled it as a toilet paper banner!
