I don’t like crowds (or people TBH) so, excepting the occasional non consensual exposure to an unfortunate local band at a pub, the list is quite short

@iain @baldur I’ve seen Sigur Rós play on a massive open air stage in front of a huge lake with a thunderstorm brewing behind them and passing sideways. One of thr more memorable things I’ve seen.

@baldur One of the small tragedies of my life is that Bowie stopped touring before I was in a place to actually go to a concert. But I'm fairly certain I saw him across the street once a few months before The Next Day was released. Not 100% sure, but I absolutely refuse to try to verify if that was even plausible. The memory is too good as it is.

Last saw them on the Takk tour oh my god how many years ago...

They opened with Glosoli, played at first behind a sheet so we could only see shadows, lifting the sheet as they came into that final manic crescendo explosion. It was an almost religious experience.
