As I said in my post the other day, there is nothing wrong with prompting AI by saying I want to write about x thing and then having it expand on your topic by asking you questions and generating your thoughts. Once that process is done, sit down with the output and then fix it so it matches your writing style. I do this sometimes when my thoughts are disorganized, but I make sure that the writing that comes out is mostly mine. I edit and shift things around. There is a problem with purely AI-written content and that's what I can't stand. Use your damn tools responsibly.

@pixelate I did see the argument in your original post of oh what if this person isn't a good writer or has another disability. I get it. I do, and I won't judge anyone for using the tools that make their lives easier, but there's a line. Even if you don't write well, you can change things up a little so it doesn't sound so generated. If you have another disability or some such, I personally don't see the harm in asking a colleague or friend "hey can you check this and tell me what you think and potentially edit or offer suggestions on how I can make this sound less AI-generated."
