      @infobeautiful Seems to coincide with tomato versus potato Europe:

      @heinragas @infobeautiful

      another map:

      olive oil and tomatoes are significantly more healthy than butter and potatoes

      but of course there's other factors

          @infobeautiful Where the butter line and the vermouth line intersect is where you'll find Julia Child.

              @infobeautiful the correct answer is butter + olive oil. Making veggies taste good since forever.

                  @ShadSterling @infobeautiful Also if you look at the climate, the olive oil region is close to exactly the areas where olives can be easily cultivated.

                      @infobeautiful which sense does this comparison make without sunflower and other oils?

                        @infobeautiful Huh! I wonder about the Scrapple Line here in the US. I think it runs North-South, somewhere West of Virginia. To the West, nobody has heard of scrapple. To the East, it's a common food.

                            I'm down with anything that makes brits feel uncomfortable in Spain...

                              @infobeautiful Would love to see the intersection between this and the extent of where olive trees can fruit sucessfully.
