The government should be protecting our public airports, not selling them off for parts.

History is littered with examples of the failures of privatization.

It drives up costs for the public, quality suffers, and workers always end up paying the price.

@avilewis I'm very glad that we got Carney as our prime instead of pp, but I'm not blind to the fact that his allegiance is more to "the economy" than to the people.

Mr Lewis, these early days of your leadership have made me very much look forward to the NDP's future. Thank you for your work so far, and I will be reading about Mr Carney's sovereign wealth fund tonight.

@avilewis "I don't know why he chooses to reference it..."

Mark Carney chooses to reference it because he thinks the majority of Canadians are too stupid to realize it's a ruse.

@avilewis The Canadian public and everyone who travels by air has already paid for them. We own them. Selling them so we can rent them back forever is just the dummest idea ever. Carney’s loyalty is to his old Brookfield pals, not Canada.

be grateful it's just your airports.

the u.s. admin is selling off our whole country for parts.
