I got an old Narva BR-2 cathode ray tube (Braun'sche Röhre) that was made for educational purposes. It has some Neon gas inside that makes the electron beam visible.
The second tube in this video is a voltage regulator OD3A that also "glows" nicely.#electron #CRT #cathoderaytube #electronics #physics #science
