Standing in the heart chamber of European democracy - the European Parliament in Brussels. ️ The sun is shining, it’s warm, and I’m struck by what this place represents.

The largest supranational democracy on Earth. A union that lets us cross borders freely, share a currency, live, work, and study anywhere from Lisbon to Tallinn. Things we take for granted.

This didn’t happen by accident. It was built. It can be unmade. Cherish it.
