D-NC primary voters over time: ️ 2020: 1,332,382 ️ 2022: 618,775 ️ 2024: 698,580 ️ 2026: 824,798+ Some fluctuation will happen with 2026 provisional votes being counted over the days ahead And North Carolina has open primaries, so both Dems and Unaffiliated voters can cast ballots
