@sinalana.bsky.social I saw a discussion earlier today, I forget where, where the idea was floated that our very idea of education (relying on memorizing facts and regurgitating) is no longer viable because of the AI menace, so we need to re-think what education means as a whole./

@sinalana.bsky.social Oh nevermind, it was from Slashdot as I perused the news this morning, and I didn't actually read the article so I can't say if it was meaningful or not.
My remark was more about what it made ME think when I saw it.
