Book idea. It’s written collectively by seasoned Wikipedia editors. Title: “WP:OR” - it contains interesting facts and stories that are known to be true by the contributors but which will never be published in Wikipedia because they are “Original Research” i.e. have no citation from a reliable source, and little likelihood of one ever appearing. I'd have a few contributions.

    (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_original_research)

@timbray A book that immediately makes itself obsolete, by making its contents eligible for inclusion in Wikipedia.

@fool It wouldn’t, by definition, be a Reliable Source.

@timbray The most striking (adjacent) example for me was a page about an Israeli which had the fact that he is Anti-Zionist. In the talk page, someone argued that describing this person as Anti-Zionist was an interpretation and not a fact. He was notified about that and wrote a whole blog post stating that he is in fact Anti-Zionist.

(This is an example that supports my refusal to a Wikipedia page about me but that's another story.)

@hananc Is it possible to prevent a page about oneself appearing? That's a surprise to me.

@timbray The (small) Israeli Wikipedia Community knows about my attitude towards them and are aware of my wish. I even wrote it on my Wikipedia user page. It is sometimes mentioned in discussions about people wanting pages about them to be removed. The most notable example is Avner Netanyahu, the son of, who said that he is not a public figure but his request was denied.
