it's 2026 and we can't come up with something better than HTML?also isn#t that the entire point of stylesheets just ignore the ones the server sends and use your own.

@TheOneDoc@tech.lgbt imean fair enough but also it happens fairly frequently that the structure of a page itself is quite dependent on the styling . so maybe markdown could fix this . maybe html is jus t a tad too much

@navi@social.vlhl.dev @shrew@oomfie.city first actual project i made was a gemini server , it was super simple rustware . but like honestly , lately i agree that gemini as a protocol doesnt rlly inspire me much . using http for plaintext is fine actually , having access to the gazillion tools already implementing http is nice , etc
anyways , i used to use lagrange and amfora for gemini , they were ok at the time
