        this is a network run and populated by people.

        actual living, breathing, thinking entities. not algorithms.

        and people do not respond well when treated as if they were machines.

          @LexYeen especially that last one holy fuck. I've started blocking people because of it, it's the main reason I wish you could turn off follows entirely on GTS, and it's also what makes me want GTS to add domain blocking so fucking badly.

          Like genuinely I have denied follow requests from the same few people every second day recently. It's part of why I don't even check my notifications anymore
