Situation update:* The electrical work has started. I think we’re about one third of the way through. I’m worried by the impossibility of getting a precise estimate, though I understand the reasons for it, and I have a feeling that the rough one we sketched out won’t be enough.
* I’m more anxious about this than about many other things. For the past three days I’ve had a heavy head and a general sense of feeling unwell, which I’m sure is tied to the stress of the situation. My body temperature is 35.5C
* Today I’ll have some time to catch up on things that were left behind, since the work is paused until tomorrow morning.
* I have tons of taxes to pay.
* I need to check whether the invoices have been paid, and I have serious doubts about that. This conflicts with the previous point.
* I need to shave. My beard is long. Today I’m a true Unix Greybeard.Let’s begin!
@stefano was thinking I hadn't seen anything from you for a while. It's good to see an update, even though of a stressful situation. Keep your head up, once everything is done and settled down it will get better. Hope your wife is doing better as well. Best wishes!

@stefano All my support to you, Stefano. It could have been worse if you had pets, like what happened to us when we renovated the roof, replacing all the tiles and wooden battens. It took 8 days, including a weekend, and the cats were locked inside in a panic the whole time.

@jae thanks. I’m trying to relax today, as much as possible. But preparing another zone of the house for the world. Rain is also expected.
