@chumblyface "Peridot" is such a lovely name for a cat! The stone itself is fascinating too; it's the gemstone form of olivine, the major constituent of the earth's mantle. Peridot is one of only two gemstones (diamond is the other) that originate from below the earth's crust, in the mantle.
