@_elena maybe some light absorbent paper between the clover and the book page - keep the plant from sticking to those pages when you want to remove 🍀

@magsamond @_elena If this was me, I would think that is the perfect placement for a forever clover-home (or deathbed?).

@_elena an era-appropriate book for a clover pressing. This whole story is cute and perfect!

This 99 year old song is part of pop culture (but I never knew all the words until I watched this video!).

        This version is from 1948.

I’ve been looking for a 4-leaf clover my entire life. Actively looking whenever I’m in a garden… and never found one.

            Until today.

In a countryside train station, before hopping on a train to Como with my family.

I told my child and she immediately found another. She was so proud: “It’s my first 4-leaf clover!” (I immortalized the moment with my phone - the photo shows her hand picking it).

I’ll be pressing them in a book later today. Such precious keepsakes 💚

@mapache @magsamond I used parchment paper and closed the book with 4 elastic bands wrapped around it (following a video tutorial). I’ll check the clovers out in a week or two 🤗

@ErickaSimone hahaha I know! Plus a few days ago a ladybug was following me EVERYWHERE (also a sign of luck I'm told). I kinda took it as a sign when she picked as a home my LEGO Architecture Louvre set, LOL.

Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket just for the fun of it. If not now, when? 😆

@grepe @_elena Yeah, it's probably the same plant doing stuff funny. I found quite a few in my grandparents' garden, and none anywhere else. Though I haven't been looking much lately.

@MichelPatrice for sure! A birthday present my child got this year were two seeds to grow a 4-leaf clover. We planted them… but nothing happened. My husband got back to Paris earlier than us and said the soil / seeds look dry and not too good. I may have to get new ones and put them in better quality soil …

@_elena the reason why you can't find any is because my aunt has found *all*of*them* first.

(really. she invests quite some effort in it, but she keeps finding them even in places where I've been multiple times without noticing them)

@_elena I dated a woman once who had the incredible ability to find four leaf clovers. If there was clover, she could find a four leafer. Her mother also had this skill. All of her 4 sisters. Her grandmother. I was amazed. I've never found one on my own.
