No, I'm not, and I have all my excuses lined up.
I went a couple of years ago (we were staying at Thurstaston) and as well as the usual loss, the pubs near the ground are awful, although I think Bill knows of somewhere that's ok.

Also, it's my son's 30th birthday today too, and we're having a family lunch tomorrow.

TBH, I'm not sure why I'm defending myself when it hurts to spend so much money to see such awful football.

Hey, happy birthday!

So far, my sixties have been okay. The big problem was the chickenpox flare in January — I now have what I choose to call Long Chickenpox, with great big industrial-strength drugs to tackle the pain and no one able to tell me when I'll get better — but, other than that, in myself, my 60s haven't been much different from my 50s.

Anyway, enjoy your big day. Free prescriptions from now on!
