The most often used glassware on #StarTrekTOS are these 60s glasses seen in 11 episodes of the original series. They appear in all three seasons of the show and debuted on Tantalus V in "Dagger of the Mind". They usually appear on the Enterprise but are also seen on other planets, like Argelius II and Ardana. 🧵 1/4

Here are the best shots we get of the glasses (all three colour varieties) from a few episodes of #StarTrekTOS. If you want to feel you're on the Enterprise when making a toast, these are the ones to get! 🙂 Let me know if you found them at a garage sale, eBay or Goodwill store. 3/4

Oh, and what about poor Dr. McCoy? He's seen holding one of these glasses in only one episode, #StarTrekTOS' "Wolf in the Fold"⬆️ when Jaris offers him a drink. But before the good Doctor can take a sip, Kirk takes his glass away as more pressing matters are waiting ⬇️. Poor Bones! 😅 4/4

The glasses come in three different colours: green, orange and blue. The green glasses are seen most often and only a few episodes feature glasses of two ("Let That Be Your Last Battlefield"↙️) or all three colours ("The Conscience of the King"⬆️, "Journey to Babel"⬅️➡️, "The Cloud Minders"↘️). 2/4

@gaghyogi49 If only someone had been more careful selecting his glassware.

You have no idea how much I enjoy doing this kind of research and then compiling collages and writing posts. 🙂

@gaghyogi49 I just went down an enjoyable eBay rabbit hole looking for those glasses. Didn't find any ... yet!
