      @adub does it really matter?

      It's the transition that's the problem, if the clocks are stable we can do the rest with scheduling

        @RandomDamage yeah, it actually does matter. humans evolved with local solar time. public health data are clear that permanent daylight time causes extra health burdens on the population level.

          @adub Which can be fixed by the simple expedient of adjusting schedules.

            @adub Also, what's the source of that? There's enough countries with single timezones spanning multiple timezones worth of longitude to make it a dubious claim.

            And India doesn't even do clock switching
