Good Morning!

Good Morning! Beige Blessings be.
Well yesterday I remembered to go and pick up Eldest from the station, they use passenger assistance who really were absolutely lovely at my local station! So yay for disability assistance that works well!!
Today we have to pack overnight bags and travel to a hotel in the town where the funeral is being held. It is only half an hour from here normally, but because the funeral cars are leaving at 9.30am we would have to leave home ridiculously early due to rush hour traffic if we stayed home.
I am worried about the hotel stay and the day of the funeral because of my recovery from my operation and the various bodily functions that it has affected. I have to take extra things with me to make sure everything will be manageable and I am struggling with working everything out. And that is all before you get to the emotional impact and stress of a funeral.
Then the wake is at a pub where the buffet will be beige food as far as the eye can see, which is all well and good but I can't currently eat it due to my operation recovery, so I also have to work out how to take food with me and keep it safe.
On the plus side, I got an extension for my next assignment, so that I don't need to worry about it until after the funeral.
I am also delighted to have Eldest with us and to be seeing their partner and Youngest this evening. They are a delighful group of young people, and though it is for sad reasons it is always lovely to spend time with them.
Well done, and thank you if you read all the way through this!
