Both #Trump & Araghchi have mentioned a 10-point proposal, which Trump described as “a workable basis on which to negotiate.” The White House has not detailed what these 10 points consist of, though Iran’s Supreme National Security Council laid out key parts of the plan.

Iran’s embassy in India posted a breakdown of the 10 points on its X account, which included the “cessation of war on all fronts, including against the heroic Islamic Resistance of #Lebanon.”

#Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif, who presented the #ceasefire plan to #Trump, also said early today that the ceasefire included #Lebanon, though #Israel said that this was not the case.

A short while ago, Trump described continued Israeli strikes on Lebanon as a “separate skirmish” with #Hezbollah that was “not included” in the 2-week ceasefire deal.

@Nonilex The moment he made that post the stock market surged & the price for a barrel of oil dropped by about $50.

I don't support Iran because of their historical tmnt of their citizens, particularly women & gay people, but Trump may have met his match. He's finally come up against a nation's leader who doesn't believe or fall for his bullshit. They know better than to trust anything he says.

Trump aside, a cease fire that includes Israel wasn't even mentioned. I give it less than a week.

He really was in full panic mode when he wrote that "ceasefire", I think.

Oddly, with most people, if they panic they don't act well, but with Trump it seems the only moment you can catch him at some tiny bit of sanity, is exactly when he IS actually panicking and cutting through his normal six concentric layers of criming and grifting.

But when Iran later released a 10-point proposal to reporters, it was different from the one to which Trump was referring, a White House official told CNN today.

The extent & nature of the differences was not immediately clear. The White House official did not elaborate.

#Trump has repeatedly expressed frustration over what #Iran was saying publicly about the #ceasefire deal. Last night, he derided a statement from Iran’s Supreme National Security Council that claimed victory in the deal as a “FRAUD” & attacked CNN for reporting on it. Today, he suggested on Truth Social that some of the agreements circulating publicly were not being discussed behind closed doors.

Many people seem to believe, that in order to get something from Trump, you have to butter him up and carry beads and mirrors to him.

And this is true, if you want to be his servant.

But if you want something real from him, something productive, then you must put him against the wall and MAKE.HIM.PANIC.

China uses the rare earths. Iran uses the Hormuz strait. They both understand what you must do.

The #Iran SNSC statement that first drew #Trump’s ire was…from Iranian ofcls & reported on by multiple Iranian state media outlets. It laid out key parts of the Tehran’s 10-pt plan. Those included regulating passage through the #StraitOfHormuz; terminating attacks on #Iran & its regional proxy forces; the withdrawal of #US forces from the region; compensation to Iran; lifting of international #sanctions & unfreezing of assets; & a binding #UN resolution to secure any ultimate peace deal.

Some versions of the security council’s statement that were widely distributed by Iranian state media in both Farsi & in English also included a claim by #Iran of a right to #nuclear enrichment.
