"You're laughing. We manufactured a ballroom emergency and you're LAUGHING."
That's a damn good point too.

At this point, thinking it was staged becomes rational.

I'm afraid that's where we are. At this point anyone still clinging to "This is 'Murica, it can't happen here!" has brain damaging levels of privilege poisoning. -

Once again, even dumber than the jokes we're making.
Every Nazi-enabling POS who got us here and attended got the evening they deserved.

@MaryAustinBooks and to boot, these influencers are on Payroll from PR Firms and shell companies. I think there is a correlation to Ashley St. Clair putting this out to their attack on SPLC.

@MaryAustinBooks these people are completely un-self aware. If I looked that bad in that dress, I would not be taking pictures of myself with a duck face and sending it to social media.

@spytfyre and that would have been less farcical than last night.
-
@spytfyre @MaryAustinBooks man, you really put some thought into that!

I pose for pictures in a taco costume at protests and it isn't this ridiculous.@MaryAustinBooks OK, I am a cis het guy so I have no understanding of female fashion ... but that dress would be the equivalent of me walking around with no pants on and several ACE bandages wound around my ass and rib cage leaving my crotch partially exposed

@jimthewhyguy @MaryAustinBooks No no, this outfit would be the equivalent of you walking around in ACE bandage pants that visibly taped your dick to your thigh and your balls to the other thigh in a way that looked very painful when you walked

That's a damn good point too.
@MaryAustinBooks to me the fact the guy survived is the only reason I think it might have been a real assassination attempt. If he was a paid stooge, his survival would be a *loose end*.
That guy is going to be questioned and questioned and questioned, and then he'd have the rest of his life in prison to blab about how he was hired. If a secret service agent had killed him on the spot, that guy would get a 15 minute debrief and it would seem normal. Easy cover up - but they didn't take it.
