I bet they’re harassing the poor guy because of the publicity around his case and their own misconduct.
Look how DHS is still going after Kilmar Abrego Garcia because all the horrible things that happened to him garnered so much public sympathy!

That's one factor. Then they cannot stomach when they loose. They are really vindictive. Come what will and by all means they want to deport him.
It's not about the law anymore. For them it's about having been right all the time.
