What else do I find concerning?

@murodegrizeco @justyourluck Not wrong.
met too many people who thought covid was an "urban coastal problem."

Urban coastal problem?? Well that's a new one to me. Sheesh even in 1917 when there travel was much more limited, the Influenza circled the globe pretty quickly. But I suppose they probably think only Spanish people got it.

So they think. Next virus may just prove them wrong.
I'm hoping for a Mar a Lago virus

What else do I find concerning?
That the 30 people who were on the cruise ship Hondius, and have left to go back to their home countries, a handful of which are now in the US (who have quit WHO and seem hell bent on destroying any semblance of healthcare), are only being "monitored".
Symptoms can take 8 weeks to show up w/the #AndesVirus and I don't understand why they aren't being quarantined for 8 weeks since this #HantaVirus can spread human-to-human
We've learned nothing.
IMO
*EDITED
CORRECTION:
30 people have disembarked, not 23.
Their nationalities (not necessarily where they went):

Germany 1
Denmark 1
United Kingdom 7
Saint Kitts & Nevis 1
Netherlands 3
New Zealand 1
Singapore 1
Sweden 1

TOTAL 30• the ship left Argentina on Apr 1
• the above disembarked on Apr 24

• symptoms of the #AndesVirus occur within 1-8 weeks

@justyourluck People didn't like 10 days of isolation for covid. Not even 5. 8 weeks?
Let 'er RIP...I guess.

Then "we" have not learned how to combat that.

Might I suggest the quarantine be set up there...

At 40% death rate.
A 40% mortality rate will pile up bodies quickly enough to get people to pay attention.

My logical brain says "yes, yes it sure will" but my more experienced in the last 6 years realistic brain that's seen some things, rolls it's eyes and says "they'll still just say it's all a hoax"

Unfortunately, the *way* many people will pay attention is likely to be a problem: out will come all the prejudices and selfishnesses, others to attack and oppress rather than taking responsibility and moderating ones own behaviour.

@justyourluck The more they spread the disease the more money the private health "care" industry can make?
