        I know, but why would she be? She's with Roy and wouldn't leave him even though a) that's what she wanted to do, and b) that's what Jim was asking for (also a prick for asking, he should have minded his own bees' wax).

        I've been told once "it's just a tv show" and I realize that and shouldn't take my opinions so seriously but I do and here I am.

          @An0n so that particular tv trope i dont think get used much anymore which is both people are aware that one is in love with the other and theyre good friends. the only other time i can think of it being quite good in a storyline of a show was david and darlene in roseanne.

          anyways, pam and jim get along but theres this issue where if you start a romantic relationship, the friendship ends and will never go back to the way it was. thats a really difficult choice for a lot of people, and its one of the few things i can actually relate to within the media
