@ArdentArchivist @FediTips Quote boosting i think is server specific. I don't think mine does as "retweeting" has been used to harass on twitter in the past so it's disabled on our server.

@FediTips no me termina de gustar que oara poner CW sea el que no ha hecho la publicacion y sea citandola, yo en su momento antes de que implementaran lo de CITAR en mastodon estuve totalmente en contra-
Se pregunto a la gente que habitamos mastodon y al final el Gargrom o quien sea ahora hizo lo que le salió de la entrepierna, no me gusta lo de citar, ninca me ha gustado.

Quoting should be available on any server running Mastodon v4.5.0 or newer. Archaeo.social is running software newer than that version but toot.lgbt is still on older software.
However, not every post can be quoted as each person posting decides on whether they give permission to be quoted when they publish the post.
You should be able to quote this reply on archaeo.social. If you can't see this option in your app, try it on the website or through a different app.

p.s. Just to clarify, the method above only works with posts that can be quoted. The person writing the post decides whether they want to allow quoting, so if they forbid quoting then you can't use the method in the post above.
