    I hate that the answer to this question is probably Amazon. 😫

    @faithisleaping Might find it on AliExpress or temu or whatever, though they may only sell in 10,000 packs. Who knows.

      Hey, queer artsy friends!

      Does anyone have a recommendation for where I can get pride lanyards? I’m looking for something I can wear at conferences instead of whatever terrible thing they give out with your badge.

      Weirdly, I’m not looking for something that shows off my identity in particular. I’m looking for something a little more generic but also not just a rainbow. Something even that cis/hets will recognize.

      If I can get them a bit in bulk, I might get a dozen or two so I have some to give out as well.

      Any recommendations?

      @faithisleaping StarSalts.com has some cute pride ones that are also Pokémon-themed, but I'd definitely at least try Etsy before Amazon, there are a lot of Canada-based independent queer artists out there who do pride lanyards of all kinds!

            @faithisleaping I dont remember where u live but I would first try calling/dropping email to the local pride organizer. In many places they are making it for their stuff/selling in a souvenir stand. I have a little collection from different cities and always used it when worked corporates

              @faithisleaping there are pride shops all around.
              Here in France we have https://boutique.pride.fr/
              I'm sure there's one similar in your area.

                  @faithisleaping
                  Etsy. Brazilian bracelets.

                  There are lots of choices. I recently ordered some
                  Brazilian bracelets. They were made to order and combined 2 choices of flag colors among other options.

                  You can also make them yourself. I've seen the kits and supplies at art supply stores.

                  I killed my Amazon account 2 years ago. I had stopped using it for quite some time. There are ways to get the things that Amazon would like you to believe can only be found there.

                    @anarres.family

                    An angle on Amazon: maybe the vendors/suppliers there also sell directly (not sure if that is the way that it works, I haven't logged in to there since 2024 when the asshole owner withdrew his newspaper's tradition of the election recommendation by the editorial board)

                    Another option is to go to the LGBT/alphabetter (was going to say "alphabet mafia", but I much prefer "alphabetter") neighbourhood in your city and see if there is a store that sells alphabetter-themed trinkets. They might be
                    a) good capitalists who see a market demand and start to stock them
                    or
                    b) good friends who put you in touch with a supplier

                      @Liza Yeah, that may be the way to go. I think my next conference is after Pride so maybe I can grab one this summer. Of curse, the chances of me remembering… 😅

                          @faithisleaping drop them an email. They might have a regular stock/offer bulk from last year or something 🙂

                          I especially love my illegal pride souvenirs from places the government banned pride at the last moment and we were rioting a bit. Istanbul 2015, Belgrade 2019, Budapest 2024
