    @hacks4pancakes that computer setup! So awesome. I can smell the wood and hear the slight hum of the CRT powering on.

            @keira_reckons @hacks4pancakes Not the same desk here, but that CD-ROM rack brings back memories. I used to have two sitting next to my computer with semitranslucent shelves (because early 2000s). One was purple and the other was green.

              @hacks4pancakes That CD rack next to the monitor would have been so handy. That time in 2000 I had mine wedged into "Bookcase, 3 drawers. NSN XXXX-XX-XXX-XXXX" with the keyboard balanced on an open drawer. A+ ergonomics.

                @hacks4pancakes

                Ahhh yes... year 2000, and the transitional period for everything from pine wood plank desks being replaced by particle board models, multi-sync CRT's, and Rack-n-Stack CD towers, and my fav, the dual-cassete boombox. Did you squeak past the Omega Jaz drives craze, though.

                Can we go backward, please? Y2K, take 2?

                            @hacks4pancakes WOW that is like a blast from the past. You were much more organized then I was.
                            That tower reminds me of a setup I had. Along with the now huge and clunky CRT. That was a time when 3.5" floppy disks were on the way out, but you had to have a drive just in case.
                            I didn't have that desk. I had a corner type desk from an office cubical that worked really well for me
