@FranceskaMann It didn't argue, it doesn't think. It is designed by humans to make them money. That it is fucking up everything is - to the people bankrolling it - a small inconvenience for which they won't pay a price. Being surprised its output is garbage is silly at this point.

@Axomamma @FranceskaMann what amazes me is that, even when you explain to someone what LLMs do (basically, statistically-biased random word jumbler), they still insist on using it. Asides from every other reason for not using it, they don't realise that it doesn't 'get things right', 'think', 'argue', 'hallucinate', 'reconsider', it just comes up with a response that statistically would be what a human would come up with next.
