Someone just asked if You Have Died is vibe coded and it really rankles me to be asked this. Am I going to have to start putting "no AI was used to create this game" disclaimers on all my games now? Ugh

@eniko Industrialized media has always been driven towards amorality. It's the kind of 'pushing the bounderies' mentality that goes too far. Here's an example: https://collider.com/no-animals-were-harmed-disclaimer-american-humane-history/

When the default assumption is horrific, disclaimers become marks of honor.

@eniko I know it's a chore, but why not? AI bros are basically handing you a free PR win by just stating the obvious.

Why should I have to change when it's the AI bros who are the ones who suck

@eniko on the plus side, people who aren't familiar with you and value that, will appreciate it

@eniko when you have major studios now actively trying to sneak 'GenAI' bullshit in while they get up on their pulpits decrying the use of it?
              Unfortunately, yes.

@eniko “I did listen to some banging tunes when I coded, does that count?”

I think a positive sticker is a good move. No AI/ AI with a line through/etc says no to something. We should say yes to something.

“Written by humans” <- my suggestion so people can tell me how bad it is and add in better suggestions.

@eniko lol someone left me a review asking if my 2014 game was vibe coded lol. It’s been here long enough that people think it “always existed” already. Reminds me of the time “how did you even coded befor YouTube and stack overflow???”
