        @nixCraft alternatively, "copyright all the things and make a byzantine 'rights' system like the hellscape that is music licensing" is ALSO not the way.             @codinghorror @nixCraft Jeff, as you know, there is an enormous gigantic dissymmetry between common openness fighters and absurdly financed tech giants, so it's unfair that copyright can be enforced to social activists (like individuals, OSS projects...) but not to mega corps because just piles of money. It's not byzantine to fight for an equal system and same opportunities for persons and companies.
